Questions about our kiln dried logs, delivery and ordering.
Are your logs ready to burn straight away?
Yes — all our kiln dried logs are below 20% moisture content, which is the level required for a Woodsure Ready to Burn certified product. They will burn cleanly and efficiently as soon as we deliver them. No seasoning or drying time needed.
What species of wood are the logs?
We supply mixed hardwood — typically ash, oak, birch, and beech. Hardwood gives a longer, hotter burn than softwood, which is why it's the preferred choice for log burners and open fires.
Do you deliver outside Sutton Coldfield?
Yes — we deliver across the West Midlands. Delivery within 5 miles of B72 is free. There is a £10 delivery charge for addresses further than 5 miles. Call us to confirm delivery to your area.
Can I get a smaller quantity than a builder's bag?
Yes — we sell XL net bags at £10 each (minimum order of 5 bags for delivery). These are ideal if you're not sure how much you'll need or just want to try the logs before ordering a full bag.
Can I have the logs delivered loose?
Yes — we offer half van loads (approximately 1.2 cubic metres) and full van loads (approximately 2.5 cubic metres) loose tipped, as well as builder's bags. Loose tipped is usually the most cost-effective for larger quantities.
